Deadline: March 12
New York Center for Photographic Art
Juror: Deborah Klomp, Co-owener Klomp Ching Gallery
This call is all about liquid, liquids, liquidity. There are liquids like water, milk, oil. Substances can have varying degrees of liquidity like the clear shimmer of water. Visually liquids can be reflective, transparent, translucent, clear, cloudy and opaque. Colored and colorless, moving and still. For this competition send us your interpretation of liquid - liquids - liquidity. The possibilities are vast - rain drops, waterfalls, pouring juice, reflections in a still lagoon, a distorted spoon in a glass of tea, and yes, spilled milk.
The New York Center for Photographic Arts (NYC4PA) invites photographers world-wide to submit images using any photographic process (print, image transfer, emulsion transfer, encaustic, black and white, color etc.). Winners will receive $4,000 in cash awards and be featured in the NYC4PA Online Gallery. The Grand Prize winning image will be posted on the NYC4PA home page.
Fees: $35 for up to 3 images, $10 for each additional image
