Good Work: Giving Tuesday

This series spotlights arts organizations, collectives, and initiatives with good causes at their core. Keep up the good work.

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday! Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 at the 92nd Street Y and its Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact in New York City. The idea is simple: a day that encourages people to do good. Now an independent nonprofit, Giving Tuesday’s mission is to build a more just and generous world by inspiring people to donate to nonprofit organizations. This year, small businesses arts nonprofits have been hit hard by the pandemic. Below is a list—by no means exhaustive—of photography nonprofits to consider for tomorrow’s Giving Tuesday (and all the days that follow).
