This hand-bound booklet was submitted to us by Jeremy Ackman. The striking cover uses clean and modern typography over a complicated black and white composition. As one of his first ventures into bookbinding, Ackman’s choice to use perfect binding makes for a polished look.
Inside there are nicely printed photographs of subway riders. The scale of the images, with plenty of white space around them, gives them room to breathe within the confines of the small book. The prominent text on the cover alludes to the poetry that Ackman has incorporated alongside the images.
