Matt Licari seamlessly blends his personal portraits with his fashion and editorial photography in his promo book. Portfolio books are a must-have in commercial photography and a great book will stand out from the pile on an editor’s desk. Licari’s white Italian leather bound book comes in a black slipcase with his name embossed on the front. The black and white color scheme is consistent with the rest of his promotional materials.
The photographs inside are large and well spaced. As the book is handled often, Licari has chosen a durable matte paper. After having met an editor in person, he follows up with an 8x10 print and thank you note.
